Coastal Walk & 5K

Put on your sneakers and prepare for a morning filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit!

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, Beachwood, Inc. Custom Builders is excited to host the annual Coastal Walk & 5K Run at the beautiful Assateague State Park. Best of all, every step you take will help benefit patient care at Coastal Hospice.

Participants can choose to compete (or not) in a 2-mile Walk or 5K Run at this year’s event at Assateague State Park (campground – day use – 6915 Stephen Decatur Hwy, Berlin, MD). Arrive at 8:00 AM for registration, refreshments, and music, with a 9:00 AM start.

Registration is $35 per participant, with sponsorship opportunities also available. Registration includes a dri-fit short-sleeve shirt, and medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each category following the race.

All ages welcome…bring the whole family! We are excited to have our furry friends run or walk alongside you as long as they are friendly and leashed. Due to plants that have thistles, a lot of participants put shoes on their dogs.
